Business Development & Marketing Services Specialist

Hall Render’s Business Development & Marketing Services Department is looking for a new team member to support current and future efforts! Our team works collaboratively to provide business development and marketing support to 150 attorneys in 10 offices across the country. From assisting with the creation and distribution of articles to proofreading and formatting marketing materials, a day in the life of this department is never the same from one day to the next!

Our ideal team member will have a bachelor’s degree (or comparable work experience), a positive attitude, an aptitude for learning many new programs and processes and a willingness to perform a variety of tasks.

We are looking for a self-starter and team player who has a solid appreciation for quality control, is comfortable being held accountable for tasks and deadlines and has previous experience in professional services (legal preferred).

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Proofread and edit firm publications, including newsletters, articles, PowerPoint presentations, invitations, proposals, etc.
  • Develop and assist with generating email alerts and writing social media posts
  • Develop and assist in compiling, formatting and summarizing information for proposals, presentations and other marketing materials
  • Demonstrate vision, clarity and consistency in presenting the Hall Render brand across all mediums
  • Update email invitations, firm brochures and other materials created by the firm’s designer in a timely manner
  • Review external and internal websites for consistency and accuracy
  • Update the Hall Render website regarding bios, presentations, service areas, etc.
  • Any other duties that fall within the strategic initiatives of this team

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) and an aptitude for quickly learning various other programs
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop)
  • Intermediate proficiency with SharePoint, WordPress and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or other email marketing platforms)
  • Writing and proofreading/copyediting experience and advanced communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to collaborate and manage multiple activities and tasks simultaneously and a willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Motivated self-starter who also prefers working in a team environment
  • Willingness to help the team in whatever is needed to further Hall Render’s marketing and business development initiatives
