Michael Kim is a health care immigration attorney who advises health systems, hospitals, medical groups and other health care organizations on the recruitment and retention of international talent.

He provides comprehensive immigration strategy and compliance counsel, helping clients navigate workforce needs through visa programs, work authorization and permanent residence while managing regulatory risk. Michael works closely with legal, human resources and talent acquisition teams across the health care industry to develop and implement immigration programs that facilitate timely recruitment and onboarding of physicians and other critical health care professionals.

Michael’s practice includes:

• Advising health systems and medical groups on immigration strategies to recruit international medical graduates;
• Pursuing work authorization and lawful permanent resident status for physicians and health care professionals;
• Counseling on Form I‑9 compliance, H‑1B and J‑1 waiver programs, and other employment-based immigration matters; and
• Guiding clients through complex, health care-specific immigration programs while ensuring operational and regulatory compliance.
