Joseph N. Wolfe


Joe Wolfe represents clients nationally on a broad range of health care regulatory compliance, operational and strategic matters. His particular area of focus is Stark Law compliance, physician compensation arrangements and health valuation issues. Joe advises clients on physician contracting matters, compensation model design and processes for determining and documenting fair market value and commercial reasonableness. He also assists firm clients with internal and government investigations on compensation-related matters, contracting and compensation program effectiveness, and he regularly provides education and training to provider staff, compensation committees and Board members.

Joe currently serves as the chair of the Fair Market Value Affinity Group of the American Health Lawyers Association. He is a frequent speaker and author on Stark Law compliance, physician contracting and compensation matters and health care valuation issues for AHLA and numerous other industry trade associations. Before attending law school at the University of Wisconsin, Joe served as a combat engineer in the United States Army.
