Dana E. Stutzman


As a shareholder with the firm, Dana Stutzman counsels a diverse group of employers and clients in numerous aspects of employment and labor law. He advises management on employment-related issues, such as discipline and discharge matters, worker classification (employee/independent contractor) issues, wage and hour disputes, disability and FMLA discrimination, workplace harassment complaints, covenants not to compete and policy and handbook review. In addition, Dana regularly appears on behalf of clients in federal and state courts and agencies in employment-based litigation. His litigation experience encompasses most federal employment laws, including the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Title VII and the Fair Labor Standards Act (including complex litigation involving class and collective action claims). Dana has experience litigating a variety of state law claims, including breach of contracts and covenants not to compete, class action litigation, defamation and false light litigation, civil rights claims and wage payment claims.
