Biography

Mr. Wolfe’s practice focuses on advising health care providers on regulatory, corporate and transactional matters.  He regularly counsels clients on fraud and abuse issues, including compliance with the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute and the False Claims Act.  Joe is experienced in analyzing, drafting, structuring and negotiating many types of health care contractual arrangements, notably physician practice and real estate acquisitions; space and equipment purchase and lease transactions; hospital-physician joint ventures; and employment, medical director, recruitment and personal service arrangements with physicians and physician groups.  His expertise includes assisting clients with the development of individual physician compensation arrangements and system-wide compensation plans, and documentation of the commercial reasonableness and fair market value of compensation arrangements.
