Jennifer Girod focuses her practice on compliance and regulatory matters, physician/hospital transactions, clinical services and patient care issues, and legal and ethical issues involved in clinical research activities. She regularly advises our clients on all aspects of health care compliance, including developing or improving the effectiveness of compliance programs and assisting clients with Medicare and Medicaid self-disclosures and government investigations. Ms. Girod worked as a nurse and an assistant professor of Bioethics prior to attending law school. She served as the Chief Compliance Officer for a health system including an acute care hospital, federally qualified health center and public health department. She earned her law degree, summa cum laude, from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2007. Ms. Girod is admitted to the bar in Indiana.
