Practice Areas

Biography

Ms. Powers focuses her practice on corporate transactional law, health care law and tax and tax-exempt law. She counsels clients on a variety of health care-related issues, including hospital and physician joint ventures, hospital/physician practice acquisitions, fraud and abuse, the Stark law, regulatory and corporate compliance and physician contracting. Ms. Powers provides such services to a broad array of health care providers, including hospitals, health systems and physician practices. She graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis and completed the Health Law Concentration with honors. While in law school, she was the Executive Business Editor of the Indiana Health Law Review and served as Chair of the Law Student Division of the Indianapolis Bar Association. She currently serves as Chair of the Health Law Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association.
