Practice Areas

Biography

Brian's practice is devoted exclusively to health care law, including medical staff and physician relations, hospital and physician joint ventures, physician contracting, hospital risk management issues and professional practice representation. Brian deals with all types of medical staff matters, including Bylaws, medical staff governance and restructuring, quality of care issues, corrective action, peer review hearings, disruptive and impaired physicians and credentialing issues. He regularly advises hospitals, health systems and physicians on health care issues. Before attending law school, Brian served in the United States Navy. Brian graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and completed the Health Law Concentration with Honors. While in law school, he was the Executive Articles Editor and one of the founding members of the Indiana Health Law Review. Brian currently serves as an adjunct instructor at Indiana University's School of Medicine in its health care administration program and is on the Board of a local cancer research support organization and a youth track and cross country club.
