Hall Render Shareholder Named 2012 Top Lawyer

Hall, Render, Killian, Heath and Lyman Shareholder Carol A. Romej, J.D., LL.M., was named on DBusiness Magazine’s "2012 Top Lawyers" list for Information Technology Law.

DBusiness Magazine polled more than 15,000 private attorneys in the five-county region. The lawyers were asked to nominate up to three attorneys among 49 specialized practice areas. Of the nearly 900 honorees selected from thousands of votes cast electronically, special weight was given to lawyers nominated by attorneys working in other firms.
Romej concentrates her practice in the areas of technology licensing, IT outsourcing and online/Internet agreements.  Her practice also includes developing and implementing strategies for electronic and forensic discovery for internal audits, investigations and litigation; counseling on data and records management; and advising clients on legal obligations for data and security breaches.
