Hall Render Tool to Assist with Interpreting Proposed HIPAA/HITECH Regulations
On July 14, 2010, the Department of Health and Human Services ("HHS") formally published its proposed regulations implementing changes made to the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules by the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act ("HITECH").
In an effort to assist with understanding the scope and the details of the proposed rulemaking, Hall Render has prepared a "redline" tool which shows, inline, the proposed changes to 45 C.F.R. 160 and 164. Click here to access the tool.
