Biography

Ms. Napiewocki counsels clients in numerous aspects of health care law. Her work involves day-to-day counsel and representation regarding corporate counsel matters, employment law, CMS and Joint Commission matters, hospice, hospital IRB matters, medical staff and peer review, contracting matters, regulatory compliance, long-term care and graduate medical education. She has been a speaker and author in matters such as peer review, the ADA and FMLA, discipline and discharge, security force matters, medical records, advance directives, record retention and confidentiality. Before joining Hall Render, Ms. Napiewocki served as corporate counsel for Henry Ford Health System and in private practice. She currently serves as the Board Chair and Scholar in Residence for the Center for Law, Ethics and Health, University of Michigan and as the Chair-Elect and council member of the Health Care Law Section of the Michigan State Bar.  She is also a member of the Program Council for the Michigan Healthcare Executive Group Association.
