Hall Render is pleased to announce Of Counsel attorney Andrew Woods has joined the firm.  Woods is based out of Washington, D.C. and practices in Hall Render's Federal Legislative & Regulatory Advocacy and Government Relations & Public Policy practice groups.  He is also a principal in Liberty Partners Group, a leading governmental relations and consulting company in Washington, D.C. 

Woods has a diverse legislative practice that includes advising clients on business and health care issues involving the federal government.  He has 20 years of experience in the development and implementation of health policy initiatives for a variety of health care organizations.  In addition to clerking for the Supreme Court of North Carolina from 1989 to 1990, Woods was a political strategist and legal counsel to Governor James B. Hunt, Jr. (D - NC) and a political advisor to Senator Connie Mack (R - FL). 

Woods completed his undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University and earned his law degree at University of North Carolina School of Law.  He is admitted to the bars of Florida, Maryland, North Carolina and the District of Columbia and is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association.
