Since Hall Render's founding, its attorneys have represented the interests of hospitals, physicians and other health care providers before the United States Congress, state legislative assemblies and various regulatory bodies. We are particularly involved in legislation concerning government sponsored reimbursement programs, public health policy and the licensure and regulation of health care providers. These legislative efforts have included Medicare geographic reclassification matters and the implementation of methodologies for leveraging additional federal dollars for state Medicaid programs. We are also skilled in advocating for the interests of hospitals and other health care providers in state rule-writing proceedings.
Hall Render has significant experience representing the interests of health care providers before various federal agencies, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (formerly the Health Care Financing Administration), the Provider Reimbursement Review Board and the Medicare Geographic Classification Review Board.
Stemming from our health care legislative successes, our government relations practice enjoys a diverse client base that, in addition to hospitals, physicians and other health care providers, includes a major health plan, an international pharmaceutical manufacturer, a national health advocacy association, a national amateur sports association and hospital and physician state trade associations.
The strength of Hall Render's government relations activities, on both the state and federal levels, derives from our ability to formulate and articulate sound policies and to identify future trends of importance to our clients.
