Elizabeth Callahan-Morris


Elizabeth Callahan-Morris focuses her practice in the areas of privacy and security matters, patient care issues and regulatory compliance. Ms. Callahan-Morris is proficient in state and federal patient confidentiality laws, data breach reporting and Office for Civil Rights HIPAA investigations.  She advises hospitals and other health care organizations on all aspects of HIPAA compliance programs, including conducting compliance assessments, mock audits, developing policies and procedures, training and education, conducting internal investigations and responding to government investigations. Ms. Callahan-Morris is also practiced in informed consent and end-of-life issues. She serves as HIPAA Task Force Co-Chairperson for the State Bar of Michigan Health Care Law Section. Ms. Callahan-Morris is a frequent speaker on privacy and security topics at the local and national levels.
