Adele Merenstein


Adele Merenstein exclusively practices Health Law and advises hospitals, physicians, and physician practices in the areas of Regulatory Compliance, Fraud and Abuse, Clinical Services and Patient Care Issues, and Reimbursement. Her day-to-day work includes counsel on patient care issues and professional licensure, Joint Commission and HFAP accreditation, compliance matters with an emphasis on the application of the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute and the Stark Law to hospital and physician transactions, preparation and review of contracts, physician recruitment and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement matters. Ms. Merenstein frequently writes and publishes updates on Health Law topics. Prior to practicing law, she was a licensed Physical Therapist and Director of Rehabilitation Services. Ms. Merenstein is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and admitted to practice law in Indiana, Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia.
