We have helped various clients in obtaining and maintaining Medicare certification and/or assisted in preparing for JCAHO & HFAP reviews. We have also counseled clients through contesting proposed revocations, denials, deficiencies upon initial survey or resurvey. We will assist you in developing an acceptable plan of correction for cited deficiencies. We will also provide ongoing advice concerning your compliance with certification and accreditation standards.
We counsel hospitals and other providers on patient care issues such as informed consent, privacy, and other patient rights and ethics issues as well as clinical research. We have experience drafting and reviewing consent and release documents and are familiar with patients' bill of rights. We continue to monitor federal and state patient rights developments. We serve as counsel to hospital ethics committees and institutional review boards.
